Celebrity NewsMo’Nique Doubles Down: ‘I’m Not Done with Tyler Perry & Oprah — Wrong is Wrong!’

Mo’Nique is letting it be known — she’s not backing down. The Oscar-winning actress and comedian went live on Instagram this week, making it clear that her long-standing feud with Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey is far from over.

“That’s why when people say, ‘Mo’Nique, when are you going to stop with Tyler and Oprah?’ I’m not. Just so we clear, I’m not,” she said during the livestream.

Mo’Nique explained that the pressure for her to remain silent is part of a larger generational trauma. “That dates all the way back to slavery. Just don’t say nothing. Just keep moving on. And that’s why we continue to be treated the way that we get treated,” she told fans.

Despite the criticism she often faces, Mo’Nique insists her stance is not out of hate or bitterness, but a commitment to truth and accountability. “I love my brother and sister or my sister and sister. Whatever day Tyler chooses, whichever way he goes, I love all of them. However, wrong is wrong and right is right.”

Her feud with Perry and Winfrey dates back more than a decade, following her Oscar-winning role in Precious (2010). Mo’Nique has repeatedly said she was blackballed after refusing to promote the film without proper compensation. She’s also expressed deep pain over Oprah featuring her estranged family on her talk show — including her brother, who admitted to molesting her.

While Mo’Nique has since made peace with director Lee Daniels, she remains firm on holding Perry and Winfrey accountable, telling fans she has no plans to stop speaking out anytime soon.
