Khadiyah Lewis Atlanta GA Obituary, Death: It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Khadiyah Jaleela Lewis, affectionately known as “KD,” who died on May 30, 2025, at the age of 44. Khadiyah was widely recognized for her appearance on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, where her confident presence and business acumen left a lasting impression on viewers.
Born on March 31, 1981, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Khadiyah was the daughter of Debra Body and David Clark Lewis Jr. She was a proud graduate of North Springs High School and later attended Florida A&M University, where she cultivated her passion for business and finance. Khadiyah built a successful career as a business and tax consultant, earning respect for her professionalism and dedication.
Khadiyah gained national attention during her time on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, where she was featured as a supporting cast member in Season 4 and made guest appearances in Season 3. Her relationship with rapper Yung Joc and her dynamic interactions with other cast members showcased her strength and resilience, making her a memorable figure on the show.
Beyond her television persona, Khadiyah was known for her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to empowering others. She was a mentor to many, offering guidance and support to those aspiring to succeed in the business world. Her legacy is one of inspiration, determination, and unwavering confidence.
Khadiyah is survived by her mother, Debra Body; father, David Clark Lewis Jr.; sisters, Rasheedah Amira Lewis and Niama T. Hill; and brothers, Jamaal David Lewis and Ahmedu Elijah Lnegbedion. Her family and friends remember her as a loving daughter, sister, and friend whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Temple & Sons Funeral Directors, 2801 N. Kelley Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73111. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the same location. Following the service, Khadiyah will be laid to rest at Trice Hill Cemetery, 5101 N. Coltrane Rd., Oklahoma City, OK 73136.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to organizations supporting mental health awareness and suicide prevention, causes that were close to Khadiyah’s heart.
Khadiyah Jaleela Lewis’s life was a testament to strength, ambition, and the power of authenticity. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
